Signature Mix Marketplace, Etsy Wholesale Partner

Signature mix marketplace, which includes three shows — National Stationery Show, Creative and Lifestyle Arts and Gift>it.distinctive gifts. fabulous finds — and Etsy Wholesale have announced a partnership rooted in a shared value system that promotes business between brick and mortar retailers and lesser known, extremely talented artists and designers.

Through information exchange, marketing communication, social media outreach and education, each party will reach broadly to its constituents to increase participation in both formats — in real time at the May 2014 marketplace and online through Etsy Wholesale’s B2B site.

“Collaborating with Etsy underscores our core mission to enrich signature mix with unique, exciting products for buyers to discover that are not duplicated in other B2B venues,” said Patti Stracher, vice president and show director. “This springtime market — and the National Stationery Show in particular — has always been a hotbed for new talent and I expect participation among young designers and buyers to dramatically increase as a result of our relationship.”

Largely through the newly-launched, juried section, #fresh, as well as throughout the three marketplace shows, signature mix will feature a variety of Etsy wholesalers. Show officials said these exhibitors will greatly benefit from widespread exposure in the months preceding the May event, and daily promotions during the show that specifically direct buyers to their booths.

The signature mix marketplace will attract a combined, qualified audience of 12,000 senior executives and category buyers from retail giants and specialty chains worldwide, international distributors and owners of independent retail shops and will feature some 900 exhibiting companies and more than 10,000 product lines.
