LA Mart finalizes schedules for 2017 Gift + Home markets, sample sales, designer weeks
The LA Mart, a premier resource for gift, home, holiday, furniture, and lifestyle products, has announced the 2017 dates for its extensive schedule of Gift + Home Markets, Sample Sales, and the Design Center’s popular, semi-annual Designer Weeks. “Our West Coast Gift + Home Market has always opened its doors in mid-January to serve our buyers. However, there has been a pile-up of markets held in January, which has caused stress to our exhibiting tenants, manufacturers, retailers and media who wished to spend more time at the California shows which had been held concurrently at the LA Mart and the Los Angeles Convention Center, under the direction of the nationally known trade show firm Urban Exhibitions. Starting in 2017, we are pleased to join forces with Urban Exhibitions to consolidate all of Urban’s order-writing exhibitors under one roof – with temporary exhibitor booths housed in the LA Mart’s 2nd Floor exhibit hall – thus offering our valued retailers the opportunity to shop all of their necessary resources in one convenient location at the LA Mart,” said Frank Joens, general manager and sr. vice president. “This merger between our two companies will make order-writing, and new product discoveries easier and more productive, and we anticipate even greater retailer attendance at these consolidated Markets.”
