CHA Launches Exhibitor Education Program

The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) announced the launch of a new, online resource center, the CHA Exhibitor Success & ROI Center (ESRC), for trade show exhibitors in the craft and hobby industry.

The new ESRC program was created in conjunction with Competitive Edge, a leading trade show consultancy, to quickly and easily provide users with free tools and information on trade show-centric information. The ESRC is available at www.craftandhobby.org/ESRC.

“Succeeding at trade shows today requires a lot more than just showing-up and hoping things work out,” said Jefferson Davis, president of Competitive Edge. “Exhibitors have to get a lot more strategic to get results.”

The ESRC provides exhibitors with information on how to increase booth traffic, the importance of pre-show marketing, the value of face-to-face meetings, closing sales and more. The ESRC also offers exhibitors with pre-show education through a webinar series; articles by Jefferson Davis; research and reports from the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), the trade show industry’s leading source of research; Exhibi-TIPS & Tools; and a monthly exhibitor e-newsletter with important CHA Trade Show news and information.

By creating the ESRC, CHA will help trade show exhibitors improve their return on trade show investment, reduce expenses, increase sales lead generation and identify and improve metrics for trade show and exhibition success.

“Our goal is to provide meaningful, cutting-edge information to (trade show) exhibitors across our industry that makes them as successful as possible,” said Steve Berger, CHA president and CEO. “We are confident that by implementing some of the tips provided in these powerful tools, exhibitors can improve their trade show ROI and decrease overall expenses at any trade show they may attend.”

Online Conference registration opens May 5.
