Cardthartic launches Noteworthy marketing campaign

Cardthartic

Cardthartic, a premier wholesaler of cards with pithy and quirky greetings, is launching a nationwide initiative to encourage consumers to write more. The new “one note a week” campaign challenges customers to write a personal note to a different person each week for 12 weeks and share the resulting enriching experiences on social media using the hashtag #noteworthychallenge.

Cardthartic’s 12-card boxed note sets will be the centerpiece of this challenge, which is expected to galvanize customers and retailers alike. “We are challenging people to connect with others and hoping to get our customers to put pen to paper to say ‘Hi,’ ‘I love you,’ or ‘I miss you,’” said Marguerite Rawdin, customer care director. “Simply reaching out and connecting is the goal.” The campaign effectively underlines Cardthartic’s mission of elevating the role of paper in our daily lives.

The challenge also gives retailers a fun and handy talking point to engage with customers about the continued relevance of the handwritten note. Cardthartic plans on supporting the campaign at its retail outlets by providing free in-store POP signs to stores that order boxed notes during the challenge.

While the campaign is focused on snail mail, Cardthartic sees social media playing a role too. Challenge participants are encouraged to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #noteworthychallenge.
