1. When and how did you start working in this business?
I originally started creating handmade greeting cards for family and friends 12 years ago. During that time money was sparse and I had to use my money wisely and become creative with my gifts. So, around the holiday season and special events, I would give handmade cards with homemade bake goods.
One year while shopping for supplies, I went to a local store to purchase a few items. The manager of the shop became curious and asked to see my final work. After presenting her with a few samples a week or two later, I was asked to join the team at The Medford Company store. This was the starting point for Kreated Moments.
2. What is your signature style?
My signature style would have to be elegant, handcrafted invitations. I enjoy creating stationery that displays grace and sophistication, using fabrics and stones that enhance the beauty of the paper. It’s definitely a challenge at times, but each order pushes me to create beyond my own expectations.
3. What are your most popular stationery offerings?
Like many stationery companies, we offer a wide range of products and services. However, our most popular offerings are custom wedding invitations and greeting cards.
4. Please share the direction your line will be taking
As I diligently work on building the KM brand, it is my goal to have us become a household name internationally. Like with anything else, it will take time and hard work.
5. What are your top three tips for success?
As I continue to strive for success, these are the three tips that have helped me to move towards that goal. The first tip would have to be, use cash as much as possible. There is no need to start a business with debt.
Secondly, manage your time wisely. Prioritizing your time by setting long-term and short-term goals will help you maximize your time in every aspect of your life.
Finally, my last tip would have to be: take some time to relax. It’s crucial to spend time with loved ones, go on a vacation or simply make an appointment to a spa. Life will never stop, but it’s important to stop for life.
