1. When and how did you start working in this business?
Finding out about my love of paper products was total accident. I studied painting and graphic design, and got roped into doing a wedding invitation for my brother. Discovering the whole range of artistic choices and printing methods just lit a fire in me. It seemed like a wonderful way to combine my love of design and materiality. From there some time at Smitten on Paper with those great ladies, and then bouncing around doing freelance.

2. What is your signature style?
Style is sort of ever evolving isn’t it? Think mainly I lean towards: modern and minimal, with a touch of vintage style. Add a pop of color and I’m a goner!

3. What are your most popular stationery offerings?
Our dessert toppers are by far the most popular at the moment, and with good reason because they are seriously fun. Custom stamps, pencils and postcards are the runners-up.

4. Please share the direction your line will be taking.
We will be expanding our line this spring with some new and lovely party goods! As well as delving back into my first love, which is paper. Be on the look out, we’re really excited about these new offerings.

5. What are your top three tips for success?
Not sure that I can really speak to this fully because versions of success differ from person to person. So far here are the things that I’ve noticed help you make beautiful things, and get other people excited about them, (which is how I define success): be curious and passionate about not only the design but the processes behind making the product. And commit to making things that you’d want to buy and are excited to make.
